These terms govern your use of Heardsafe and its products — SafeVoice, ClearView and BoardView. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Heardsafe helps individuals document workplace concerns and helps organizations understand patterns in employee feedback. We provide software for recording, organizing and analyzing that information.
The service is not monitored in real time and must not be used to report an emergency. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. In the United States that is 911. If you are in crisis, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available by call or text.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Knowingly submitting false information may carry legal consequences of its own.
What you document remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transmit and display it for the purpose of operating the service — including processing by the AI and communications providers listed in our Privacy Policy — and, where you agree to it, to share it with an attorney under Section 6.
This licence exists only to run the service. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are legally required to retain a copy or where the content has already been shared with an attorney at your direction.
Heardsafe scores documented matters for legal merit and may offer them to attorneys in our network. Attorneys pay us a fee for those referrals, and the fee varies with the score. You should assume that a referral is a commercial transaction for us.
Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and you keep access until then.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI-generated summaries, extractions or scores will be accurate or complete, or that using the service will produce any particular legal or employment outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heardsafe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify Heardsafe against claims arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the service, or content you submit that infringes someone else’s rights or that you knew to be false.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — content licence limits, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law — do survive.

We may update these terms. We will post changes here and update the date above, and for material changes we will give notice through the service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
